These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of DirectStudio AI (“DirectStudio,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including our website and video creation platform (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

2. Description of Service

DirectStudio provides AI-assisted tools to draft storyboards, generate video, images, and voiceovers, and edit content from text prompts and uploaded media. Features, models, and output quality may change over time as we improve the Service.

3. Credits, Billing, and Payment

  • Use of generation features consumes credits, which can be purchased on a pay-as-you-go basis or included in a monthly plan.
  • Plan fees and credit purchases are billed in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law.
  • We may change pricing or credit costs going forward; changes will not retroactively affect credits already purchased.
  • Unused credits may expire or be forfeited if your account is terminated for violation of these Terms.

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of the prompts, media, and files you upload (“Input Content”) and, subject to these Terms, the videos and other outputs generated for you (“Output Content”). You grant us a limited license to process, store, and display your Input and Output Content solely to provide and improve the Service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any content you upload.

5. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Output Content is generated using third-party and proprietary AI models and may be inaccurate, imperfect, or occasionally resemble existing works. You are responsible for reviewing generated content before publishing or distributing it, and for ensuring your use complies with applicable law and third-party rights.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Generate content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or that violates another person's rights, including likeness or publicity rights.
  • Create sexually explicit content involving minors, or any content exploiting or endangering minors.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its underlying models.
  • Use the Service to develop a competing product without our written consent.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by DirectStudio and its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time by contacting us.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, DirectStudio will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
